My Vision for Scurry County!

 Scurry County deserves leadership that plans for the future, communicates clearly, and puts residents first. I will listen, communicate, and work for you!

  ✔ Transparent County Government
Residents should know how decisions are made, how tax dollars are spent, and who to contact for answers. Transparency builds trust—and trust matters.

Commissioners should be proactive in reaching out to their constituents with information.

✔ Roads That Work for Residents
The current road construction and maintenance process is frustrating for many citizens.
Residents deserve:

• Confirmation their request was received
• Clear placement on a priority list
• An expected timeline for completion

A clear, published process brings accountability and results.

✔ Smart, Responsible Growth
With the rise of energy projects, data centers, and battery storage facilities, Scurry County must pause and ask:

• What do we want our county to look like in 10 years?
• How do we protect agriculture, open land, and quality of life?
      Growth should serve the community—not overwhelm it.

I propose that we have a Citizens Advisory Committee to the Commissioners Court. Planning only for one year will not work in this age of desire for Texas land by international companies!

✔ Fiscal Responsibility
County government should plan ahead, avoid surprises, and respect taxpayer dollars through thoughtful budgeting and long-term planning.

A goal of mine is to eliminate or significantly reduce property taxes.

✔ Community First Values
Scurry County’s strength is its people. Every decision should reflect respect for our neighbors, our land, and our way of life.

The Texas value of helping neighbors in need is precious and must be maintained.

A Scurry County that is transparent, prepared, and guided by the people who live here.
